I was sorry to hear about the passing of Mark. I was a classmate and played basketball with him, graduating in the same class of 1962. he was the happiest most positive person I knew, leaving this thought in my yearbook, "The best to you each morning." Well, thank you Mark and I would like to wish his family the best in their time of grief! From David (semi-auto) Steele

Mark was one of my favorite teachers at Yuba City High. I was ever so glad to later utilize his insurance agency for most all my insurance needs. Mark was a remarkable and kind man. You will certainly be missed Mark. Thank you for all the care you provided me and my family over many decades.

I was so sorry to see that Mr. Iwanaga passed away. He was an amazing teacher that I had the privilege to have during my time as a student at Yuba City High School. He was an enthusiastic teacher who made class fun and interesting. Then there were field trips!! He was even more fun and especially when Mr.Pappas was along. I particularly remember one field trip that his children were on as well. Their Mom said that someone needed to chaperone the adults. My sympathies to his family he will be missed.

My daughter and I were so shocked when we received a call yesterday, December 3rd, from the State Farm office in Sacramento advising us that our policy has been transferred to their office due to Mark's passing. I met Mark in 2005 when I moved to Marysville - he was always so pleasant and outgoing and he will be missed. Our sincere condolences to Mark's wife and family.
