Ricky Kidd Obituary
August 2, 1960 – January 4, 2023
Ricky Wayne Kidd was born at home in Olivehurst, CA, on August 2, 1960. He passed away January 4, 2023, at Adventist Health and Rideout Hospital in Marysville, CA.
Ricky took on the family tradition of being an avid bear hunter, always partnered with his hound dogs and ole blue. His favorite time was up in the hills near Feather Falls surrounded by his family and friends.
Ricky had the most amazing work ethic as he spent most of his life working construction and for the last 20 years creating beautiful yards through his landscape business. No matter what Ricky worked on, he always put pride in it and made sure it was done right.
Ricky is survived by his wife, Virginia Kidd of Rio Oso, CA; his son, Cody (Haylee) Kidd of Grass Valley; his daughter, Cheyenne Kidd of Yuba City; his brother, Roger (Cheryl) Kidd of Missouri; his sister, Brenda (Rick) Barrett of Yuba City; and his wonderful nieces and nephews.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, Javone and Janice; and his brother, Randy.
The family will be having a Celebration of Life for Ricky at the Rio Oso Hall, 760 Fourth Avenue, Rio Oso, CA 95674 on Sunday, January 15, 2023, at 2 o'clock in the afternoon. Please bring your favorite dish to share.

Karen and I were saddened when we heard that Ricky had passed. He took care of our yard for years. He was always a pleasure to talk to and he knew what he was doing. Our condolences to his family and friends.

Ricky Kidd~I always loved saying his name:) try it sometime all y'all. Its addictive! That boy would not let me play my new Led Zeppelin cassette tape (1979 or so) because the cassette cover was pink LOL! His way or the highway~I didn't get to hear it at that time. I know I am supposed to tell the family what a loss we are experiencing but every single one of you already know. Take every moment you were able to spend with him as a blessing. Our time together was not enough. God bless those of us that remain here & know he will be with us & making sure we are doing it his way~Kelly

My family is blessed to have the kidd family in are life´s my kid call him uncle we had so many great memories from get together to hunting I feel in shock he´s gone no more call to see what´s up RIP my friend the Houston´s family will miss you for sure
