Richard and Ruenell Givans: we send our sincere sympathy to Pat and all the Byers Family as you deal with the loss of Dr. Byers. He was a kind doctor with a calming influence before a surgical procedure. He was greatly appreciated and respected. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Pat and the Byers family: I have lost my good friend and mentor. I will always remember Bob as the one who inspired me to go into anesthesia and then led out in our anesthesia group. We are praying that the Lord will give you strength and courage. Sincerely, Jerry and Susan Wade

My thoughts are with you all during this time of sorrow. Yet, inspite of your sorrow please remember that Bob is in a terrific place right now by the grace of our loving God. No pain, no tears, no sorrow, no sadness...only pure delight at the worship of the most high God. Glory to His name! I have so many fond memories of Bob....too many to mention but here are a few: Boulards bar camping trips, CB's, snow play trips (one of which Bob broke his back!), water ski adventures (taught me how to ski and now an avid skier), countless hours of fun in the swimming pool, delicious thanksgiving dinners, and so many more memories! I am praying for you all during this time. Thank you Byers family for being such a positive influence on my life.
