Ronald Loy McBride, 78, of Browns Valley, CA, passed away at his home on Wednesday, January 8, 2025. He was born March 28, 1946, in Holdenville, OK.

At a very young age they moved to Linda, CA, where he was raised and lived until marrying his wife, Mary Jane, and moving to Browns Valley, CA, 49 years ago.

Nothing was more important to Ron than his relationship with Jesus and the love for his family.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Jane; his children, Barbara Denney, Denise Huber (Jeff), and Dallas (Shawnesy); six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Della and William McBride; his son, Greg; and two brothers, William and Guy.

Ron graduated from MUHS, and Yuba College and attended Chico State. He was retired from Sutter- Yuba Mosquito Abatement District after 40 years.

He loved life and was thankful for every day spent with family and friends. Sports were one of his favorite things to do and when he couldn't play anymore, he loved watching and cheering.

Camping and traveling brought him so much pleasure and he was able to do it often.

Ron's love for kids and youth never faded. He was a dedicated youth leader for 25 years and a leader in the church. He was a faithful servant.
