Sylvia Catherine Lethridge

Sylvia Catherine Lethridge, 81, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2024, in Marysville, CA. Born on January 10, 1943, Sylvia dedicated her life to her family, her faith, and her community.

Sylvia is survived by her devoted husband, Paul Lethridge; her children, Paul A. Lethridge, Louie Lethridge, Renee Rivera, and Grace Scott; her siblings, Henry Ramus, Joseph Ramus, Immogene Todd, Teresa Ramus, and Alex Ramus; seven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. Her life was enriched by her extensive family and the deep bonds she shared with them.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Emma Ramus and George J. Ramus Sr.; her brother, George Ramus; sister, Georgette Ramus; son, Nelson Lethridge; and grandchildren, Lacy Lethridge, Louie Lethridge, and Leticia Lethridge; as well as many beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Sylvia's life will be celebrated and remembered by all who knew her on August 2, 2024, at Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church, 115 Fifth Street, Marysville, CA 95901, at 11:00 A.M.

In lieu of traditional remembrances, flowers and other donations can be delivered to Bethel A.M.E. between 9:00 A.M. - 10:00 A.M. on the day of the service. Sylvia's commitment to her church and community will be honored through these contributions, continuing her legacy of kindness and generosity.
