I am confronted again as I sit to write this of the inadequacy of language to express my thoughts concerning a man whose impact on my life would be measured in volumes, not sentences or paragraphs or pages. Tim would have wanted some gorgeous siren of a woman bewailing his passing and how she loved him, but instead he has a chubby, effeminate loser who can't even hack his way to a history degree despite living in a college town and being a year short of graduation for almost a decade writing about how he cried like a baby when he heard the news. This world lost a prince the day Tim turned in his crown. It was his choice, but he thought he deserved his infamy and pain. I would wish for something other than this fate for him, but he'd remind me that I'm a naive and stupid kid, still wet behind the ears, and that longing to change the past is only self abuse. I would have taken no offense because none would be intended. I would trade my best day for one more miserable day with him. Good night sweet prince, and flights of angels sing thee to thy rest.

I have lost an old friend, one I have not seen in many years. You will be remembered as an engaging, intelligent, caring person. Go well, Tim.
