KRISTY KAY PULLIN

KRISTY KAY PULLIN Kristy Kay Pullin went home to be with the Lord on March 14, 2025 in Garland, Texas. She was born in November 1954 to parents O.P. and Phyllis Higbee. While she moved around in the early years of her life, she grew up in Ardmore, Oklahoma. After graduating high school, she would attend Lubbock Christian College (now University) and become a Registered Nurse. She began her career in the Dallas area. During that time, she met her husband, Larry Pullin. The two returned to Ardmore and lived there for over 40 years, raising their children, Molly and Tim. Active in both of her children's lives, she also touched the lives of many other children. As a dedicated volunteer parent, she spent countless hours supporting the marching band, choir, theatre, and other organizations. Dedicated to caring for others and having a servant's heart, she served patients in a variety of medical practices and in her spare time by visiting and caring for the sick and elderly and frequently babysitting for family friends. She was steadfast in her faith: "If God is for us, who can ever be against us? Since He did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won't He also give us everything else?" Romans 8:31-32 Kristy was proceeded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Larry, of Garland, Texas, daughter, Molly Varrassi and husband, Jonathan, and their son, Ezra, of Garland, Texas and son, Tim Pullin, and wife Abby, of Olathe, Kansas. Her sisters Sharon Hunter of Athens, Texas, Linda Elliott and husband Tom of Garland, Texas. She is further survived by cousins, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews and dearly loved family friends all who mourn her passing. The family will hold a private ceremony at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully asks donations be made to shelters and organizations supporting the survivors of domestic violence and abuse in your local community
