Patsy was born December 29, 1931, in Cyril, Oklahoma, to Dee and Eula Huffine. She married Billy Gene "Bill" Mullenix on August 20, 1949, in Fletcher, Oklahoma, and graduated from Cyril High School in 1950. After graduation, Pat and Bill lived briefly in Konawa before settling in Ardmore, where Bill began working at the Ardmoreite.

Pat worked several jobs, including Memorial Hospital, and in 1972 she began her career at the Carter County Courthouse, serving in the County Superintendent's Office and later in the Court Clerk's office. She retired in 1994 after 22 years of service.

Bill and Pat celebrated 68 years of marriage prior to his passing in 2017. During their marriage, they enjoyed traveling together in their camper trailer and supporting their children and grandchildren in their many school and social activities. Pat's favorite hobbies were gardening, cooking, attending church, and volunteering. She was a proud member of the Mercy Hospital Blue Ladies volunteer organization for five years.

Pat was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bill Mullenix; her parents, Dee and Eula Huffine; her brother, Alton Huffine; her sisters, Dee Chloe Stinnett and Emma Joe Nix; and her daughter, Connie Richards.

Survivors include her two sons, Donald Mullenix and wife Shellie of Valliant and Jackie Mullenix of Ardmore; her son-in-law, Randal Richards and wife Deni of Ardmore; her sister, Jimmie Lou Gray of Oklahoma City; her grandchildren, Mike McCullers and wife Christy of Ardmore, Jennifer Jay and husband Brian of Tuttle, Bailey Black and husband Derek of Blanchard, Meagan Neal and husband Marcus of Sulphur, Meredith Collvins and husband Ethan of Stillwater, and Mason Mullenix and fiancé Anna Autaubo of Bixby; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Derek Black, Mason Mullenix, Marcus Neal, Ethan Collvins, Ty Davenport, and Brian Jay.

The family extends sincere gratitude to Rosie Knight, Georgia Clark, Laceshia Brown, Patricia Jones, Yulanda Grayson, and the staff of Cross Timbers Hospice for their compassionate care, relentless assistance, and unyielding support during Pat's illness.
