Sioux Falls- Clifford A. Palmer, 78, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Fri., Feb. 17, 2017. His funeral service will be 10 AM Mon., Feb. 20 at George Boom Funeral Home & Crematory, Sioux Falls, with burial at Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation begins at 2 PM Sun., Feb. 19 at the funeral home, where the family will greet friends from 2-4 PM. The family encourages casual attire at the funeral and visitation.

Clifford Allen Palmer, son of James and Anna (Schrader) Palmer, was born June 1, 1938 on the family place near Dallas, SD. He grew up and received his education there. Cliff then helped on the family farm.

Cliff was united in marriage with Donna Reinoehl on October 2, 1958 in Pipestone, MN. The couple made their home and raised their family in Sioux Falls, SD. Cliff owned and operated Cliff's Town and Country Service for 28 years before health issues forced him to retire in April of 2016.

Grateful for having shared his life are his wife, Donna; four children, Rick (Shari) Palmer, Roger (Michelle) Palmer and Darin (Kari Clark) Palmer, all of Sioux Falls, Kim (Mike) Sommers, Hartford, SD; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Rozalie Leetch, Macon, MO.

Cliff was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, Kurt, Den, Clint, Keith and Chester Palmer; and a sister, Marge London. Online guestbook at georgeboom.com.
