Delbert Bohms Obituary
Delbert was born on August 23, 1945 to Alfred and Norma (Snethen) Bohms at Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He lived in Sioux Falls throughout his life. At the age of 17 he joined the Navy where he served for 17 years. Delbert married Joanne Eastman on April 15, 1978 in Sioux Falls.
Delbert retired from Preferred Cleaning in early 2013. He enjoyed spending time with his nephews, nieces and Godchildren, Andy and Amy Wieczorek.
Delbert passed away July 15, 2013 at the VA Hospital in Sioux Falls.
He is survived by his wife, Joanne, sister, Margeann (Dean) Dewes, Sioux Falls; brothers, Bruce (Cathy) Bohms and Sheldon Bohms; as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and two sisters, Wanda Bohms and Deborah Larson.
A celebration of Delbert's life will be held 11-4pm on Monday July 22, 2013 at the American Legion in Sioux Falls.
