Faith Stahl-Sarfarazi Obituary
Ocala, FL - Dr. Faith Stahl-Sarfarazi, 53, of Ocala, FL and formerly of Bridgewater and Brookings, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 in Ocala. Faith was born July 23, 1960 to William and Joann Stahl of Bridgewater. She graduated from Bridgewater High School, Augustana College, and Rush University Medical School in Chicago. She practiced several years as an ophthalmologist at Yorkshire Eye Clinic in Brookings before setting up her own practice in Ocala, FL. She is survived by her husband, Mohsen of Ocala, FL; her children, Ariana of Washington, DC, Cameron of Champagne, IL and Parisa of Gainsville, FL; her parents, William and Joann Stahl of Bridgewater; and her siblings, Carol (Tim) Meyer of Columbus, IN, Mark (Karen) Stahl of Kokomo, IN, and Jeanie (Carter) Nold of Brookings; as well as 4 nieces and 4 nephews. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2014 at 7 pm at the Hutterthal Mennonite Church, of rural Freeman, SD.

I had the pleasure of working with Dr Sarfarazi for 5 years at Yorkshire Eye Clinic. She was such an amazing person and taught me so much. I am what I am today , thanks to her confidence in me when I was just starting as an ophthalmic tech. Thank you for that Dr Sarfarazi! I will forever be grateful to you.

Dr. Sarfarazi was a huge influence on the arts in Ocala. She was a very talented musician and was always there to support theatrical and musical presentations. She was an outstanding mother. I enjoyed knowing her.

Faith was a wonderful person... of course, I remember her from having her as a State FHAer, and how she came to visit my class in later years as a speaker. There are so many wonderful memories that I will treasure and hold in my heart. Sympathy to you all. Mary & Ken Mannes

May the God of all comfort comfort you all during this sudden unexpected loss. I am saddened at the passing of your daughter, sister, aunt, and the many other roles Faith fulfilled in other peoples lives. I am reminded of a song lyrics which goes when you don't understand, when you can't trace His hand,when you can't see his plan trust His heart. I have many fond memories growing up with all your children with Brenda living next door to your family. My prayers are with you. May your faith strengthen and sustain you with each passing moment.
