Brandon, SD - Frank Gerard Caffrey, age 91, passed away on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at Sanford Hospice Centennial Cottage in Sioux Falls, SD with his family by his side. Memorial Mass will be 10:30 a.m., Monday, August 6, 2018 at Risen Savior Catholic Church in Brandon, SD. Visitation will be Sunday, August 5, 2018 from 4:00 - 6:00 pm with the Rosary beginning at 6:00 p.m., at George Boom Funeral Chapel in Brandon, SD. Please direct memorials to the the Food Pantry in Sioux Falls, SD. Please consider a donation to the Sioux Falls Food Pantry in Frank's honor.
He was survived by his wife of 53 years, Barbara, his 3 sons, Patrick Caffrey (Jacquie Newhall) Boulder, CO, Peter Caffrey (Yolany) Scottsdale, AZ, Joe Caffrey (Krystal) Sioux Falls, SD and daughter Amy Caffrey Bruns (John) Dallas, TX, 6 grandchildren Jackson, Lauren, Drew, Ryenn, Lucas, and Grace, his brother Roy Caffrey (Nora) in Irvine, CA, sisters Berd Snyder (Don) and Mil Demars (Don) Spirit Lake, IA.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Gabriel and Margaret (Sather) Caffrey; and his brother-in-law, Don Snyder.
