Paul P Kleinsasser

Paul P Kleinsasser, formerly of Freeman SD, passed away on Nov 27, 2013. Paul was born Sept 22, 1917 in Freeman to Paul & Anna (Wollman) Kleinsasser. Paul proudly served in WWII as a Combat Medical Officer in the European Theater. After the service he worked for Park Lane Feeds and later as the hospital administrator for the Freeman and later the Redfield Community Hospitals.

Paul married Lucille Graber in July of 1948. Together they raised 4 daughters. Family was a priority for Paul. His grandchildren & great grandchildren were a highlight.

Grateful for having shared his life are his wife, Lucille; 4 daughters, Barbara Haar Rightmyer (Rod) of Omaha NE, Joy Kleinsasser Sachs (Lee) of Kings Park NY, Jill Wilkerson (Brian) of Yorba Linda CA & Wendy Aspaas (Kyle) of Sioux Falls; 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Paul is also survived by one sister, Irene Holden, of Backus MN.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Dec 7th at 11:00am at Bethany Mennonite Church in Freeman. A Long life lived, yet it's difficult when our loved ones leave this earth but a blessing when we have the 'hope' of 'Eternal salvation' promised in Christ Jesus.
Thinking of the family @ this time & asking God's peace & comfort for each of you, not only this week but in the days to come. I will not be there to attend the memorial service as I arrived in France on Tues to spend the month with family here.
I saw in the Argus (on line) where S.Fall's has snow so guess I left in time. This afternoon Kent & I walked for a couple hours putting invitations in mailboxes for the 'Christmas program' which will be the 15th. Thankful it was sunshiny & not too cold & we will have several more hours of walking ahead.
