Robert Wikner Obituary
Robert James Wikner, Jr., 73, of Sioux Falls, passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2013 at his son's home in Lebanon, Oregon.
Robert was born June 12, 1940 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, the son of Robert and Myrtle (Parkhurst) Wikner. He moved from Sioux Falls to Phoenix, AZ at the age of twenty where he operated "Phoenix Dental Ceramics" for several years. In the late 1960's he moved to Honolulu where he resided until returning to Sioux Falls in the late 1970's. He owned and operated "American Dental Lab" in Sioux Falls until 2005. He has lived in Lebanon for the past year.
He enjoyed making jewelry and wind chimes.
He is survived by his sons, James Duistermars of Rochester Hills, MI, Emory Lake of Anchorage, AK, Dana Wikner of Lebanon, and Jonathon James Wikner of Sioux Falls, SD; daughter, Kristine Londen of Charlottesville, VA; sister, Julie Kastl of Albany, OR; and seven granddaughters, Iollia-Louise, Naida-Jordanne, Malinna-Anice, Enarra-Marie Wikner, Carissa, Katie, and Bethany.
No services are planned at this time. Huston-Jost Funeral Home in Lebanon is in care of final arrangements.
