Betsy Lynn Watson passed away on March 28th, 2024 in Missoula, MT at the age of 56. Betsy was born in Ontario, OR on January 9th, 1968 to parents Richard and Arlene Watson. She is survived by her mother Arlene, her father Richard (Sharon), her sister Susan (Rich), her brother Scott (Jeanette), her sister Jill (Rob), her four children Nathan (Bethany), Zack (Jewel), Micah (Brad), and Josiah (Maria), and two grandchildren Emery and Atlas.
Betsy was raised in Fruitland, ID and graduated from Fruitland High School in 1987. After starting a family, Betsy moved to Indiana, where she became involved in the local church. She then moved to Texas, where she finished raising four children and several dogs. She enjoyed spending time with family, crocheting, and large Dr. Peppers. After her youngest child graduated high school, she returned to the Fruitland area and worked as a nurse while being near her mother, siblings, and nieces and nephews. In January of 2024, she moved to Missoula to be closer to her daughter and to start a new part of her life in the mountains, walking with her dog Mabel and enjoying the local community.

A memorial service for Betsy Lynn Watson will be held on Sunday, April 14th at 3pm at West Valley Free Methodist Church in Fruitland, Idaho. A small graveside service will be held on Monday, April 15th at 10am at Parkview Cemetery in New Plymouth, Idaho.
