Cheryll DePuy, of Ontario, OR passed away peacefully Monday, February 26 2024, at Wellsprings Assisted Living in Ontario, OR, at the age of 67. She will be cremated and no funeral as per her wishes.

Cheryll Lynn was born April 30, 1956, in Uravan, CO. She was one of four daughters born to Allen Neil and Bessie Leona (Reed) Ausmus. Cheryll graduated Payette High School in Payette, ID. She went to ITT in Boise, ID to become a paralegal. She married Ralph Edward DePuy on January 8, 1983 in Burns, OR. They lived there for 7 years before eventually moving to Payette, ID for his work in Ontario, OR. They soon grew apart after the move and divorced. She lived in both Payette, ID, and Ontario, OR. She never remarried.

Her surviving family include, Her stepmother Judith Ausmus of Fruitland, ID, Her ex-husband Ralph DePuy of Elgin, OR, Her 3 Children, Brian Ausmus of Payette, ID, Jeramie Ausmus of Woodland, WA, and Melissa DePuy of Elgin, OR. Her 2 Nieces, Pam, and Misti. Her 2 granddaughters, Rhiannon, and Jaslyn. One great grandson, Lucian and 5 grandnieces and grandnephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her 3 sisters: Candis, Debbie, and Pamela. She was a beloved mother and grandmother. She will be missed and thought of through great memories and pictures for years to come.
