Grace grew up in Comstock with her three sisters: Shirley, who resides in Nebraska, Virginia in Nampa, and Barbara in Boise. She also had numerous nieces and nephews, many of whom she helped care for over the years, creating cherished memories and bonds.
In 1952, Grace moved to Idaho, where she met and married Carl Wilt in Nampa. Together, they shared a love for the outdoors, spending their time ?shing, hiking, hunting, and camping. After many joyful years together, Carl passed away. Grace later married Howard Field, who also preceded her in death.

Grace's nurturing spirit extended beyond her family to the many children she babysat over the years. Her home was a welcoming place where these children, now grown, continued to visit and express their affection for her.
A dedicated volunteer, Grace was actively involved in several organizations. She was a committed member of the Disabled Veterans Auxiliary, holding various o?ces. Alongside Howard, she volunteered for hospice, providing comfort and care to those in need. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, and she faithfully served the Brethren Church in Fruitland for many years, holding o?ces and working passionately in the baby bank, a role she particularly enjoyed.
Grace's life was a testament to her caring nature, resilience, and unwavering dedication to her community and family. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of kindness and service will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing her.
