We enjoyed so much, getting to know & spending time with "Jeannie" & her family over the last 20 years or so. She & her family, became part of our extended family, and we were lucky to share some real quality time with them, esp. on Holidays...Our condolences to daughter Susan, the grandkids and other family members

I first met Jean when I was a college student at OSU and was a FEEP student. A few years later she became my colleague in the Whitehall City Schools. She was a great mentor and a wonderful person. My condolences to her family. May Jean's memory be for a blessing.

I am sorry to hear of Jean's passing. I knew Jean for many years as a colleague working in Whitehall. She was the hardest working person I have ever known, She did so much for the teachers at Whitehall. What I really appreciated was the many college credit classes she brought to our school, enabling us to earn OSU credit during the after school hours. May she rest in peace. My sincere sympathy to her daughter, family members and friends.

I am so sad to hear of Mrs. Tippett's passing. Mrs Tippett was my 4th grade teacher (1962/63) at Etna Road Elementary School in Whitehall, Ohio. She was my favorite teacher. She made learning fun. I remember how she taught us our multiplication tables! It was so much fun and because of her I taught my kids and grandkids they way she taught our class.
She was truly a kind, caring person. Her encouragement made me want to excel.
As fate would have it, my husband met Mrs Tippett when he attended Ohio State University. She was his mentor. Because of Mrs Tippett, he ended up with a career in teaching.
My sincere condolences to her family.
