WILLEY, Albert Albert L. Willey (Al), 90, of Fayetteville, Ga. passed away peacefully on December 10, 2014 surrounded by his family. Al was born on July 13, 1924 in Oakland, Ca. to Albert Milton and Christine Ryan Willey. He served in the US Navy Armed Guard aboard numerous vessels throughout the Pacific Theatre during WWII. He will be remembered for his uniquely inquisitive and creative mind. He enjoyed painting, fishing, and the outdoors. He applied his artistic talent in all aspects of his life. He loved his family and was actively involved in his church and community. His final act of caring will leave a legacy of hope for the future through his donation to the Emory University Body Donor Program. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Claire Lapp Willey; sister Patricia McAdams; daughter Jan Bradford (Ed), son Scott Willey (Carmen), daughter Dawn Cash (Ben), five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. A memorial and celebration of his life will be held at 10 am on December 15, 2014 at St. Andrews in the Pines Episcopal Church, 316 N Peachtree Pkwy, Peachtree City, Ga. 30269. Reception to follow.
