ARCHIE B. MEYER Archie B. Meyer, Sr., was born on April 12, 1936. He passed away suddenly on March 28, 2005. He is survived by his devoted wife, Bernese C. Meyer; daughters, Tonya Meyer, Erica Meyer Henry and Rhaychelle Meyer, Atlanta, GA; sons, Archie B. Meyer, Jr., Houston, TX and Arrick Meyer, Atlanta, GA; sisters, Meta Scott, Aiken, SC, Ann Hankins, Dayton, OH, Minnie Bing, Queens, NY, Clarissa Wilkinson and Louisanna Modster, Los Angeles, CA; brother, George Meyer, Washington, D. C.; grandchildren, Vanessa, Alexander, Devin, Marissa, Danielle, Bryce and Blair. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, April 2, 2005, 12 Noon at St. Paul of the Cross Church, 551 Harwell Rd., NW. Instate, 11 AM. Interment, Westview Cemetery. In lieu of fowers, please make donations to the Archie Meyer, Sr. Memorial Fund, c/o Morehouse College, Atlanta, GA. Viewing today 9AM-9 PM. The Alpha Phi Alpha Omega Service and wake 6 PM at Murray Brothers Cascade Chapel, 1199 Utoy Springs Rd. SW, (corner of Cascade Rd. near I-285), (404)349-3000, mbfh.com.

Joseph and I were sad to hear about Archie. He was a mentor to me and taught me many things as my supervisor during my tenure at OCR. Mrs Meyer, I and Joseph will always hold fond memories for both you and Mr. Meyer. May God be with you and your family always.

P.S. Your sister graduated with my brother Mark, class of 76. There has been talk of an "all Westwood" reunion - any grade. Sounds like you live in Houston now but will keep you informed if this takes place!!
