Our Gilleland family has known Barry and Linda for 40 years. My mother, Eloise, had the privilege of working with Barry at Larkin Coils and later The Larkin Group. She commented many times of the joy Barry brought to her with his dry wit and high work ethics. His personal help to my family in times of crisis, including our own mother's death, will always be remembered. We are grateful for his friendship and our memories of his many kindnesses. Our deep sympathy extends to the Weiner family and all of Barry's many friends. Elise Gilleland McClintick, Biltmore Forest, N,C.

Condolences to the family. I worked very closely with him while he was at Touche Ross and then at Larkin Industries. Wonderful memories

My heart was truly saddened to hear of Barry's death. It was truly a privilege to be one of the providers as he underwent his first transplant. I am not quite sure how many of his bone marrow biopsies I performed. Linda made it her mission in life to ensure others would know what barriers a caregiver faces. I will never forget the call in Falkland, BC when Barry told me he relapsed. How wonderful that he was able to beat leukemia for a second time and have a fruitful life. It is truly an honor to be a part of the lives of individuals such as Barry. I know he will be sorely missed.
