Many years later, I still remember her. My parents still live in my childhood home which was directly across from the Simpson home. I always remember her and her siblings when I see their home. Memories walking home from Campbell elementary with her and our neighborhood classmates. Will always remember her for the great person she was. Sending my prayers and love to the Simpson family.

Canei was a bright person she never let anyone put her down she would alwaya have a smile on her face. If her friends were not smileing then she would make sure they were. Me and Canei were the best of friends if she needed money I was there and if I needed money she was there for me. Canei and I use to always write e-mails to each other and write notes to one another.
I will always have love for Canei and the Simpson family!

On one Saturday afternoon, God came to Canei and said, "My precious child, your work here is done. It's time for you to come home." I am happy for Canei yet still I'm sadden by this lost. The last thing Canei said to me was that she was going to Emory to be a doctor. On Saturday when God came to Canei he said to her, " My dear child your work here is done. Deacon and Deaconess Simpson, Canei was a thing of beauty that will be with us always. It was more than a pleasure to have her in my Girl Scout Troop for 2 years. Canei always took the lead and made sure things were going as planned. She truly made an impression on the Girls of Troop #71 and on the leaders. She was an Angel here on earth!
