I read of your family from Crestview Baptist. I have a very sick 4 year old daughter... My heart and prayers go out to you. I know how many blessings your daughter must have shown you, countless, I am sure. She was a gift from God, a gift like no other and she will continue to touch your lives forever. Remember always, and hold dear to your heart, the things she has taught you. May you all have peace. I am sorry for your loss.

Tre' and Jenny,
How truly sorry I am to hear about Catie's passing. I just heard yesterday and even though our families attend different churches now, Jay and I were both distraught to hear the news. We can't begin to fathom your pain but wanted to offer our condolences. We will continue to keep your family in our prayers. Our God is a great God and only took Catie to relieve her pain. How wonderful it is (even though it may not seem like it now) to know that you will get to hold your angel again someday!
If you ever need to talk or someone to pray with, please don't hesitate to call me.
With sincere sympathy, Erin & Jay Howard.

Jenny and Tre,
My heartfelt sympathy goes out to you and your extended family at the loss of such a precious child. Just being in Catie's presence at the Ronald McDonald House, even if for a moment, was something special. I'm so thankful for all those special moments. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I have never met either of you or your family, but I feel the need to express my sorrow for you and your family at this time in your lives. I can say that my husband and I have been in your shoes, in November we lost our daughter Chloe who was only 6 months old to the side effects of AML. But it is going to sound silly right now but just remember to keep your heads up because now you truly have a guardian angel protecting you and watching over you.

I heard about Catie as I was picking my son up from Weekday Ministries one afternoon, and got to see her beautiful smile on the video they had playing for her. The songs in the background (The Dance and I Hope You Dance) were both played at my sister-in-laws funeral a few days before. She had lost her fight with cancer, and I prayed for your little girl to be spared. I'm saddened to see that she didn't make it, but I believe God has plans for each of us. And she is now healthy and painfree in his loving embrace. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Catie was diagnosed about three weeks after Steven.
I remember your family in particular because there was a suspicion that Steven had Gorlin's and you shared some information with me about it.
Although I've never met any of you, I was immediately taken with Catie from her photos and your description of her positive attitude and sunny disposition.
My heart is breaking over your loss. We are praying hard for your family, and looking forward in anticipation to hearing about Caties brother or sister-to-be.

As a Make-A-Wish volunteer, I had the great pleasure of meeting little miss Catie last year, as we made plans for her to visit Cinderella (her favorite) at DisneyWorld last September. I'm so blessed to have known this little angel and her wonderful family. My heart grieves for them. I love the time we shared pizza and wore our Cinderella rings as we all gathered together for the "Bon Voyage" party before Catie left for her exciting trip. What a precious memory! She was in the arms of a loving family then and I know she is in the arms of a loving Heavenly Father today! As a believer in Jesus Christ, I know I will get to see her again one day.. I can't wait!

Dear Jenny and Tre',
I know this loss is a great one. I wish I could do or say something that would make it better and easier to live with. Of course, those words don't exist. Do know this: if there is ever anything I can do, please don't hesitate to ask!
Love,

May God give you and your entire family comfort during this difficult time. Catie touched many lives across the nation and brought a deeper awareness to childhood cancer and the need for more research for a cure. Give thanks to God for this blessed little angel even though it was for a short time.

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Wilkins,
I am so sorry to learn of Cati's passing. It was a year and a half ago that I first met her at the Ronald House Golf Tournament and she was a very charming young lady to say the least. Her affection for cherries out of Cokes was a hit with all. My wife sent her a lot of cherries over the past year and a half. We are saddened beyond words at your loss.
May God bless you and give you grace and peace during this time.

Be Still
Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.
Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.
If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

Your family is an amazing family. The power of a Mighty God is so present in your lives. Your great faith and love for God is a witness to everyone your journey has touched. I am a stronger person today for having been a part of your journey and for having known Catiebug and feel honored to have traveled this journey with her. She has touched so many lives with her unfailing courage and strength. My heart breaks for those left behind but I celebrate Catie's life and I know that God is loving her "devilish smile" as we all do. All of you are in my thoughts and prayers. In His love
