Charlie Shivers Obituary

SHIVERS, Charlie E. Charlie E. Shivers, age 66, of Acworth died April 20, 2014. Charlie was a graduate of Sandy Springs High School, attended North Georgia College and was a Software Engineer with ADP. He is survived by his Wife, Linda Shivers, Daughter and Son-in-law, Christy and John Goff of Marietta; Son and Daughter-in-law, Chad and Jessica Shivers of Acworth; Sister and Brother-in-law, Treva and Pete Graham of Homewood, AL; Brothers and Sisters-in-law, Donnie and Juliette Shivers of Marietta; Tim and Jamie Shivers of Pleasant Grove, AL and David and Jeanne Shivers of Sandy Springs. Survivors also include his Grandchildren, Joey Lewis, Lindsey Goff, J Shivers, Great Grandchildren, Brennan Lewis, Grayson Lewis and nieces and nephews. Memorial Services will be held Saturday, May 3, 2014, at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Sandy Springs. Rev. David Shivers will officiate. The family requests memorial donations be made to Wellstar Community Hospice, c/o Wellstar Foundation, 2000 South Park Place, Suite 202, Atlanta, GA 30339.

I'm so glad Charlie came to our SSHS class of '65 class reunion four years ago. Who would have thought that it would have been the last time many of us would see him. He was a great guy with a great sense of humor. My condolences to his family. Charlie will be truly missed by so many.
