Not sure what to say?

June 25, 2011

D, continue to rest in the peace that passeth all understanding, knowing that anyone who knows you well, and even those who just crossed your path never could or would forget you. You are my cousin, my confident, my partner in crime, and my best friend. For sixty years we shared a love and friendship that i will charish for the rest of my life. Though I say goodbye to this lovely memorial to your beautiful life, my memories will continue to sustain me. Thank you for your stories, your crazy sense of humor, your laughter and the times we shared; like sitting across the street, watching the first "MOVE" drama here in Philly back in the 70's as we sat there; you with your camera snapping picture after picture I (wish i knew what happened to those) and me scared to death, but stil i remained right by your side! Thanks for being here with me when Daddy died though your mom had passed just eleven days before him. Thanks for sharing that weekend with me here in Philly on the first anniversary of their deaths......Just you and me, Pat and Willie and I think Gia too. Thanks for being with me for what i didn't know would be the last Christmas I would have with my MOTHER and YOU! For every good memory and even the not so good ones between us in the last year ...I thank God for you! I am at peace D. Though my heart broke into a million pieces when you passed, I am at peace because I believe you are as well. I miss you so much, but I am at peace because God knows our hearts and no misunderstanding can surpass sixty years of kinship and friendship.

Until we meet again cuz, keep the FAM laughin in Heaven as only you can!

ps i saw Willie just last week at the farmers market after all this time since he was here at the house with me you and Pat and I cried when we talked about you, but i laughed too and only you and I know why!

All my love and respect for the good fight you gave life!!!!!!!!!!!!!

D, i look at this picture of you and I remember us in "our hey day" as mommy would say. We were young, beautiful, full of life and promise. No matter what the future brought to us D, just like your mom and my beloved Aunt Alma... "You did it Your Way!!!!!!!! Til we meet again "Danny Boy", I love you so! Your cousin and best friend always no matter what. Bonnie.

March 9, 2011

Jill, I am Danny's cousin Bonnie from Philly. I feel as if I know you, he spoke of you often. He loved his job at the courthouse, and told me so many stories about you all including Judge Malicke who my Aunt Doris told me attended service, which made me so proud. He tried his best, but his mother's death broke his heart and he was never able to recover from it. We lost our parents, (his mom and my dad) eleven days apart, but he came here to Philly to be with me. I will love him and miss him until we meet again.

March 9, 2011

Irene, I remember you and Mildred and of course, Danny's dad "Sugar Do" as a little girl. It has been many years since i have seen you, but Danny always talked about you and how you all kept in touch. I am Erma and Charlie Jackson's youngest daughter Bonnie, (alma and my mom were sisters) Cheryl is my sister. Danny and I were not only cousins but best friends all of our lives until a year before he died. We shared just about everything two people can share, and my heart is heavy with our loss, more than I can say here. May God bless you and keep you.

March 9, 2011

Anita, i remember you as Danny's "first love" when he moved to Atlanta to attend Drexel. I don't know if you remember me, but, even though you guys broke up, and went your separate ways Danny always spoke so lovingly of you til his dying day, so I love you too. His first cousin, Bonnie Jackson, from Philly.

Danny.. today my mother and your aunt Erma has been deceased for 7 years. I can't believe its been that long and almost one year since you left. I truly believe you are at peace and those that preceded you in death are taking care of you and you of them. Cousin, you are missed with your wise cracks and jokes you told keeping everyone laughing so hard. I love you.

We are deeply saddened by the loss of our nephew and cousin, Danny D. Ware, son of James "Sugar Do" Ware and Alma Allen Ware Carroll. Danny and Alma were always cherished members of the Ware family. Danny served as Godfather to my daughter Leah Alexander. They both shared the same birthday, June 10.
Over the years my family and I maintained a loving relationship with Danny though at a distance here in Dallas,Texas. We regularly exchanged phone calls, birthday and Christmas greetings.
In spite of Danny's medical conditions he continued to embrace life with a positive attitude. He was at total peace with himself. He was, in my opinion, the essence of cool.
Danny fought the good fight, finished his course, and now may his soul rest in eternal peace.
We extend our deepest condolences to his aunt Doris Sherard and his cousin Delores Williams and her family.

When tragedy strikes and takes the life of someone so young, we cry out due to the pain in our heart. Our tears are not unnotice by our Heavenly Father, although your deep pain will not easily disappear. But may it brings you some comfort to know that Almighty God is near to those who are broken in heart and those who are crushed in spirit he saves.

Ernie, Kay, and Bradley. I'm so sorry to hear about Daniel. My first reaction when I saw the news was disbelief. I thought it might have been a different Daniel when I read the story about a "23 year old man..." in the news. I still had Daniel remembered as that little boy with an eyepatch tagging along with Bradley and I everywhere we went. Or the nights I spent at yall's house, and Daniel and I stayed up all night playing video games when Bradley fell asleep early. Bradley, I'm living in Easley now, so give me a call if there's anything I can do. I lost your number so stay in touch. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.
