Mr. Bradford: I met Ellis in the 9th grade and he became my best friend after a very good friend of mine had left the state. He was one of the most wonderful young men I had ever met among all the school clicks and expectations. He was a breath of fresh air. When all of us were pursuing popularity and places of influence, Ellis always said 'just be yourself'. He kept me grounded and always made everyone else feel more important than he, when HE was really our LEADER. He made us focus on the more important things in life and he reminded us how insignificant we all could be! At such a young age, he was a humble and respected person - he obviously continued that legacy in his friendships. How I wish his kindness could be known forever to his children and family. He certainly changed my life and made me THINK when I otherwise would not.

I didn't have the honor of knowing him in these last years, but it is clear that he never lost his focus. While football was always his passion, he kept his sense of humor and place of balance. I'm sure all of us who loved him wonder why we are still here and he has gone before us. He was so wise beyond his years and I will forever miss him. I thank God that he knew the Lord - but again I'm not surprised, he was always more clear of kindness and spiritual understanding than we were. I am happy that the next time I will see Ellis is in the most incredible place - I thank the Lord that time is not lost when you know God and I can't wait to hug him and thank him there like I never was able here in life.

God Bless you, strong and wonderful as you are - I can't wait to see you again! (I looked again at your picture in the yearbook tonight} Your inspiration will live on in the years we still have in life - Thank you for being so significant in such an insignifant world!! You will always inspire me and your character will live on - You certainly inspired me for over 33 years. I can't believe this much time has passed, but I will wait for your hug with the most incredible anticipation! I LOVE YOU, ELLIS! Karen (Faglier) Paul, Class of 1980 - Forest Park Sr. High School

To the Bradford family and friends of, please accept my condolences on the passing of Ellis. I knew him through other friends; especially my best friend, Rebecca Lynn Voiles. He always made me laugh and was very personable; someone who will always be remembered with fondness. Let faith and trust in God the father assure you all that we will be together again one day. Dino, I will miss you so much my humble friend. You always kept me laughing whether it be from playing trivia, to trying to talk me into riding on the back of a crotch rocket, to which I was terrified, and then expecting me to wear an ugly green helmet, since you implied the ugly green one was too small for you.

Thank you for all the good times, the good laughs, the emails, the conversations and for being a very good friend to me.

I know you already have them rolling laughing in Heaven now. We will meet again my friend, and until then, goodbye. I'll miss you deeply.

Dino,

You truly knew how to put a smile on people face and I will miss that. I had the pleasure of knowing "Dino" through Strayer University where he attended school and I actually worked. Man the news of his passing was hard for me to take in, therefore I can only imagine what the family is going through. Chris, if your reading my deepest condolences goes out to you man, I know how close you and your dad was. He loved nothing more than his family and football. May God bring this family comfort during these hours of hardship.

Dino, When I spent the day with you last week and had known it would be the last time I would see you, I would still be there my brother..A person can go through his entire life and alot of people say they are your friends, but the real friends you can count on one hand, and still have fingers left. You were my true friend Dino. Thank you for many years of being your friend, you were truly a blessed kind soul. May the Good Lord bless your soul and I will be looking for you for one of those Bear Hugs when my job here is done. Please give my parents one of those hugs and when you get time , walk across to rainbow bridge and hug my fur babies (dogs). They will know you coz they liked you. Gods Speed My friend!! Have fun until I get there and don't play many jokes on Jesus lol....

I grew up with Ellis, you could say I lived at his house. Really! Ellis had only friends I never knew anyone that did not like him. Ellis was truly a good man, funny and genuinely kind.

We will see him again!
