Diksha SHROFF Obituary
Family-Placed Death Notice
SHROFF, Diksha G. With a heavy heart, we regret to inform everyone that Diksha G. Shroff of Smyrna passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, friends and prayers on Saturday, May 18th, 2013. Her lung and connective tissue diseases rapidly progressed over the last week, but she fought a long and heroic battle for over 20 years. During her 66 years, she was not only a pillar of strength and love for her family, but also the community at large. Originally from Gandevi, Gujarat and Mumbai, she has called Cobb County her home for over 30 years. Trained as an Ayurvedic Physician, her working years were spent raising her children and caring for her extended family. She was a model of fortitude, compassion, and humility. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, and has served the community selflessly for many years. Diksha is survived by her devoted husband, Girish, sons Munjal and Nishant, daughters-in-law Happy and Zehal, parents Mansukhlal and Nila, and her beloved grandchildren, Aakash and Laksha. Funeral Services will be held 4:00 p.m. Monday at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta. www.mayeswarddobbins.com

Dr. Shroff, you all have grown to be just like family to me. I've worked under your wings for quite some years & through this time developed a relationship w/ Mrs. Shroff. I will cherish all the gifts she's given to me. I was very touched & disturbed to hear this news. My deepest sympathy & prayers are extended to you, Mujal, and Nishant during your hour of darkness.
