Dorian was and still is a beautiful soul. I met her under the worst circumstances for me. I was pregnant in prison. She took me up under her wing and made sure no one messed with me. She showed me and taught me so much in that time I shared with her. She wasn't perfect but no one is. She was a beautiful soul. I watched how she moved and she always stood up for the right thing no matter what. I hate she left in the manner she did but I know her good outweighed any of her bad. Therfore I know my sister is in a good place right now.. She left a mark on me for the good. She showed me so much love and helped me become a better person. I love you Dorian aka Sky you were a real true beauty inside/out and I love you forever. I ask you from the other side to do all you can to watch and protect over your children. Who she always talked about and made sure I knew she wanted to better herself for them. God and Sky give your children the love and ultimate protection. Thank you Sky for being my sister/friend/protector in Metro State Prison. We connected because neither of our lives were a Disney story and we both grew up in the same neighborhoods, went to the same schools, and knew the same people. I love you Dorian and I hope to see you again friend. And you were a good friend Sky!!!!! I love you forever girl.

I´ve known Dorian since 2001, fostercare sister (Momma D. Strickland), Metro YDC, Emmanuel YDC, Alternative School on Wesley Chapel..... Sky loved her children and I remember the day she lost her grandfather. She was emotionally broken after losing her grandfather. She was a Leo like me and was very popular among our peers. She was beautiful, a musician, a model and a boxer. I´m sad to find this article about this tragedy.... I cried for her more than my own blood sister which I lost in the same way 3 years ago. Sky always stood up for what was right and would lend a hand to almost anybody. She´s always on the grind like me, Chasing the bag. I love you Dorian, I wish I could´ve been there for you. I told Mr. Kevin L. Parker what happened and now he´s crying too. I asked him to share your memory on Facebook because I don´t use that stuff anymore. I didn´t get a chance to talk to you in the recent years but I emailed you last year and didn´t get a response. I´ll drive up to see you once I find out exactly where you are. You will always be on my mind and in my heart. Forever your sister and friend, Monique but you always called me MoMo.

DORIAN AND I MET IN MIDDLE SCHOOL AND I CAN HONESTLY SAY THIS WAS HEAVY ON MY HEART. I CAN REMEMBER HER SMILE AND HER LAUGH UP UNTIL THIS DAY. TO KNO SKY WAS TO LOVE HER. ALWAYS SMILING, LAUGHING TALKING CRAZY LOL. LIFES PRECIOUS. PRAYING FOR HER CHILDREN.
