I got to know Eleanor through EFM at All Saints. She cared so passionately about the people and and animals she loved and causes she believed in. Her joy was contagious.
When we would share our opening comments about our lives each week, the rule was "no cross talk," which meant taking in each others´ stories without adding commentary of our own. Eleanor found those rules quite constraining as she always wanted to give encouragement and advice to anyone facing any difficulty.
Eleanor had a fascination with all the mysteries of the world and was so bright and curious. I know she and God are going to have a number of long chats about some things that puzzled her.
My condolences to family and all who love Eleanor.

To Eleanor´s children, their spouses and her beloved grandchildren,
I am so sorry for your loss. I know how much she loved you and was so proud of you. I have heard many wonderful stories and Eleanor could tell a good story. I will miss her as will many friends snd neighbors. I loved whenever friends of mine stayed at her place because it gave me a ready excuse to visit. But I also could just pop by when I was out for a walk to get an Eleanor update. Rest In Peace, Eleanor.
