George SCHEINLER Obituary

SCHEINLER, George George Leroy "Roy" Scheinler died peacefully on November 25, 2014. Roy was born on June 15, 1937 in New York City, New York. He was raised in Nyack, NY and graduated from Nyack High School in 1955. He then went on to graduate from University of Tulsa in 1960. He also served in the National Guard. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 44 years, Julia Ryder Scheinler, also from Nyack, New York. He is survived by his four children: R.C. Scheinler (wife Amy) grandchildren: Jacob and Ellie of Louisville, KY; Greg Scheinler (wife Shelly) grandchildren: Alex, Finn, and Emelia of Birmingham, AL; Julia Graham (Scheinler) (husband Eric) of Alpharetta, GA and Caron Bellus (Scheinler) (husband Bill), grandchildren: Ryan and Lucas of Marietta, GA. Roy loved to laugh and make others laugh. His passions included reading, sports, bird watching, gardening, and spending time with his family. He delighted in his post-retirement job at Home Depot. He was a loving, caring, and supportive husband, father, father-in-law and grandfather. He will be missed by all who knew him.
