I am so sorry to hear about George's death. He took me to the hospital when I had surgery in Sep 09. When we would speak on the phone, he told me he was having health issues. He sounded bad, and then overnight, communication stopped. I kept having a feeling that something was wrong, but I had no way of contacting him other than from the numbers he gave me. God spoke to me just today and told me to check the obits. I wish so badly that I had known about his passing so I could have attended his funeral. Please know that George was a true friend and honorable veteran. He will be sorely missed.

Cythnia, I found out each of our mission in the earth is to Glorify God and tell everyone that Jesus is Lord. George's mission of love spreaded abroad and honored by God. When his mission was completed, he went home to be with his Father just as Jesus did. May you find comfort in knowing the blessing he is to you and your family and the wonderful memories you will now share with family and friends. - Katrinka

My heart and prayers goes out to Lil George and family. Let us not forget George Tibbs III is in a better place now with our Heavenly Father - Jesus Christ. The physical and/or mental pain George so often endure here on earth is now gone. It was a pleasure to have met George Tibbs at the Atlanta VA. We spent many hours talking about our past military experiences in the Persian Gulf War (Desert Storm) and conversations about a soldiers’ family life after military service. His dedication, loyalty and selfless service to helping veteran of past wars smile again was a great asset to the Atlanta VA hospital trauma recovery program. Thanks George, job well done. May God Bless you and grant you peace with everlasting life within His Kingdom.

My heartfelt condolences to Lil George and the family. Your Dad was truly one of a kind. I met George through his close friend, Bernard, where we became very good friends. George had a gift making people laugh with his jokes and stories. He will be dearly missed, but not forgotten, for just thinking about him makes me happy and not sad. He is in a better place and no pain. Lil George, no bond is greater than that between a parent and a child. May your heart be filled with fun and wonderful memories, for only time will heal the pain you feel. Just know that your father always made someone smile and his spirit will always be with you.
