Family-Placed Death Notice

EISEMAN, Dr. Gilbert,M.D. Dr. Gilbert Eiseman M.D., 77, of Dunwoody, Georgia died November 26,2008 at St. Joseph's hospital from Parkinson's Disease. Born in Brooklyn, New York, he was the son of the late William Jay Eiseman and Sally Eiseman. He is survived by his wife, Enid Betty Eiseman and their daughters: Lori Ann Eiseman Pepper and her husband Bill Pepper and Jamie Beth Kravitz and her son Jason William Rosenberg; brother Michael Jay Eiseman and his wife Iris Eiseman and their five children. Dr. Eiseman was a Diplomat of the American Board of Plastic Surgery and American Board of Surgery. His practice was in Farmingdale, New York. He was the first medical student to receive a scholarship from Merck in his senior year. After medical school he was in the U.S. Army Reserves for five years while completing his internship and general surgical residency and then served two-years in active duty as a Captain in the U.S. Army Medical Corp. A funeral service will be held Monday, December 1, 2008 at 2pm in the chapel of Dressler's Jewish Funeral Care. Interment will be at Beth Moses Cemetery in Pinelawn, Long Island, NY.
