Please accept my condolences at your loss. I worked with Hans at Koppers and INDSPEC.

Hans was extremely intelligent and was perhaps even nicer than he was smart. He was always gracious and helpful and willing to listen and answer any question.

I am saddened by his departure and
will feel his presence every time I open another report or document that he wrote. I still refer very frequently to the autographed copy of his book that he gave me.

You have my sincere sympathy.

Bernice and Family,
I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Hans. Len was very fond of Hans and always spoke highly of him. I can sympathize with you because I lost Len four years ago this October. I guess now Hans and Len are sharing stories and talking about working at Koppers. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this time of grief.

Dear Bernice and Family:
We were deeply saddened to hear of the passing of your dear husband and father. We fondly remember the pleasant dinners we shared over the years at your home and at other Pittsburgh locations. Hans was a special friend and delightful storyteller. We share your grief at this difficult time and extend our sincere condolences.
