Family-Placed Death Notice
HUNT, Harriet HARRIET HUNT Harriet Hunt, 77 of Decatur, GA passed away on May 12, 2008. She was recently widowed in November to Charles (Roy) Hunt, Sr. She is survived by son Charles (Chip) R. Hunt, Jr, daughter-in-law Linda Hunt, grandkids Chris and Stephen of Loganville, daughters Cyndi Hunt and partner Felicia Folds of Tucker; Cathy Hunt Linss, son-in-law John Linss, grandkids Nick and Jennifer of Snellville. Her brother Don Fruit and family live in Peachtree City. Brother Gary Fruit and family live in Mexico. In February she moved to Sunrise Assisted Living on Webb Gin in Lawrenceville where she was loved very much. Family will receive family and friends between 3:00 & 4:00 on Wednesday. Memorial service will be Wednesday at 4:00 pm at A.S. Turner & Sons in Decatur. In lieu of flowers if you like you can make donations to Embracing Hospice Snellville, GA.

Dear Chip, Cathy and Cyndi,
We lived in the same little neighborhood around Beech Drive and Bonway Drive. Your parents were always sweet and nice. We're so sorry to learn of your dear mother's passing, as well as that of your dad, Roy. Your mother was so pretty and as I remember, your dad was a handsome mailman. We all had fun growing up in that little neighborhood. My brother Jody and Chip were buddies. Please know that you all are in our prayers now and in the days to come. I knew Harriett thru The American Legion and JB Huddle. Harriett was the sweetest and nicest person. I will miss her .

Harriett was kind, friendly, and totally devoted to her family. She will be remembered as a role model for others. We will not forget her. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family.

Dearest Cyndi, Felicia and family~
Your mom's struggle is over but I know yours is just beginnng. My thoughts will be with you all these next few days and beyond. Your family has had a lot to handle these past several months. Although I've only observed from afar, it appears you are a family of faith and I know that will help you through the sadness. God bless you and keep you strong.
