DALTON, Harry Celebration of Life Service for Mr. Harry James Dalton will be held Saturday, November 16, 2013 at 11 am at Beulah Baptist Church, 170 Griffin St. NW Atlanta. Instate 10 am. Pastor Trina D. Evans. Interment Kennedy Memorial Gardens. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the church at 10:30 am day of service. Survivors: children, Harry Whitt; Gerald Dalton; Yolanda Kimbro (David); grandchildren, Nicole Reid, Nichelle Reid, David Kimbro, Jr., Cameron Dalton and Nia Kimbro; 4 great grandchildren; brother, Johnny Dalton, Jr.; sisters, Linda Dalton and Mary Poole; other relatives and friends. Just sitting here remembering the conversations I had with your father over the last few years....... As always he was like a father figure to me as our neighborhood was like a "village". He gave me advice, listened when I needed someone to talk to and always had a warm caring smile on his face. Always know that he was so proud of you guys and his spirit will remain in your hearts.

As a childhood friend, I played with Yolanda and Gerald almost everyday. I remember Harry as being gentle, caring, and supportive... a great father figure. To the family, I am deeply saddened by your lost and I will keep you in my prayers. (Ronnie)

To the the Dalton Family, especially Jerald and Yolanda. Please know that Mr. Dalton was indeed a special man. He embraced us from the day that Yolanda joined the Kimbro family via marriage. I will miss seeing Mr. Dalton at the family gatherings. I can see him now greeting us with is warm smile. I was so happy to have him in our family of in laws. What a loving father he was to all.
