Harry Peagler Obituary
Harry James "Jim" Peagler, III, died on February 3, 2025, which was his 91st birthday. Jim was born on February 3, 1934, at Crawford Long Hospital in Atlanta, GA. He was the only child of Harry James Peagler, Jr. and Sarah Colley Peagler. A native Atlantan and almost lifelong resident of Buckhead dating back to before it was annexed into the City of Atlanta, he was a graduate of North Fulton High School and Oglethorpe University. There will be an interment at Arlington Memorial Park.

I was very sorry to read about the passing of Mr. Peagler.
As the University Librarian at Oglethorpe University, I would like to honor Mr. Peagler with a book in the library collection in his memory. If a family member would reach out to me with a title, I will purchase it and place a memorial book plate in the front cover with his name.
