Family-Placed Death Notice

 STANLEY, Helen Lucille Buckhead - Helen Lucille Stanley, 84, passed away on April 18, 2011. Mrs. Stanley moved to Buckhead, Georgia in 1988 after her retirement from Rich's Department Store. She was born in Atlanta on May 2, 1926 and spent most of her life in Atlanta and Tucker. Survivors include her husband of 68 years, James M. Stanley, a daughter, Verene (Renie) Stanley Rickett of Tucker; a son, Lee Stanley and his wife Becky of Leesburg, Georgia; grandsons, Ken Rickett and his wife Ana, Chris Stanley and his wife Heather; a granddaughter, LeAnn Rickett Chick and her husband Tom; and a great-grandson, Bradlee Rickett. She is also survived by a brother, Albert Lee Mann, Jr.; and several nieces and nephews. A private family memorial will be held at a later date at Swords United Methodist Church officiated by Dr. Anthony N. Gavalas, Pastor and Bill Hayes, Chaplain, Hospice Services of St. Mary's Health Care System. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the Swords United Methodist Church, 1401 Swords Road, Buckhead, Georgia 30626 or St. Mary's Hospice Services, P.O.
