Family-Placed Death Notice

GAILMARD, James James Thomas Gailmard passed away on September 1, 2013 in Lithonia, GA at age 68. A native of Atlanta, Tom was a graduate of Georgia State University with a degree in Business Management and served in the Army (1962-1965) and as Radar Specialist in Okinawa, Japan in 1964-1965. He worked for many years for an international paper company and was Practice Manager for 8 years at Fayette Eye Clinic. He was the only son of the late Joseph Thomas Gailmard and Mary Hill Gailmard. He is survived by sister, Judith Gailmard Mason of Port St. Lucie, FL, niece Danielle Davis Weer of Alpharetta, GA, and nephews Timothy Davis of Annapolis, Maryland, Chris Mason of Port St. Lucie, FL, and Brad Mason of Jacksonville, FL, grand nieces Mary Elizabeth Weer and Jordan Mason. He is pre-deceased by his loving sister, Mary Josephine Gailmard Davis also of Atlanta, GA. The private ceremony honoring his life will be held in October at Andersonville National Cemetery.
