I think of Dr. Williamson and his excellent work. His stories of dancing the shag in SC were enjoyable. I met his lovely, gracious wife once. Still miss my favorite dentist ever.

There are no words to express my sadness when I read this morning in a letter that Dr. Williamson was no longer on this earth. There are too few consistencies in life, but Dr. W was one of mine the past 31 years. To memorialize a man one only saw twice a year, but who always impacted you is difficult. He will be missed for more than just the services he provided, but for the kind of man he was, the personality he exuded, the trust he garnered, his way of always making me laugh and his contagious smile.
I hope they have floss in Heaven.
Love you always Dr. Williamson.

I just found out today about Dr. Williamson - my heart is broken. He has been my dentist for over 35 years. He spoke so highly of his family - especially those precious grandchildren. I recently lost a daughter in a car accident and he was so caring and considerate when my husband & I would come in. I will miss him so much. Grief is the cost of loving someone so deeply.

I only found out today when I arrived for my appointment. I am heartbroken. Not only was he a wonderful dentist who I trusted and who put me at ease, but he was a joy to talk to. We often discussed vacationing in the Panhandle, and he always took an interest in what was going on with my dogs. I was looking forward to sharing our latest adventure today. He maintained an office that was more like a family than a business and my heart goes out to all those, family, friends and co-workers who have lost a most talented and delightful man.

We were both shocked and saddened to hear of JR's passing. He has been our dentist and friend for nearly 30 years. He took care of us all and we felt him a part of our extended family. We know he loved what he was doing and he was and will be the best dentist as far as our family is concerned.
Please know that your family has been in our families thoughts and prayers as you navigate through this difficult time. The Waldo's

Dear Mrs. Williamson & Family:
Please accept my sincere condolences on your sudden and terrible loss. Dr. Williamson was a wonderful, caring man and an excellent dentist. He helped me out of a terrible dental situation and assisted me by easing an otherwise significantly greater financial burden. I was referred to him by a friend who was a long time patient of his and I was so impressed with the care he gave me that I referred many people to him who became patients and fans of his. I will miss him. My thoughts and prayers are with the family as you go through this difficult time.

We were sorry to hear of the passing of Dr. Williamson. We live in Greenville and just found out about it. I've known Jim Bob for over 30 years as both a patient of his and a coach at Mountain Park. His son and my son played ball together. He was a great guy and we will miss our drive over to Atlanta twice a year to see him and hear about his growing family.

Dear Kitty and family ,
We are in complete shock and sadness. JimBOb was a dentist but more a friend to us since 1973. He truly loved you and the family. we had the pleasure of meeting your son and enjoying refreshments at the oyster place. Jimbob never stayed long because he wanted to go home to his Kitty. We always laughed that after 40years we were growing old together. We will miss him in our journey

Dear Kitty and family, we moved here in 1978, not knowing a soul-and of course dental issues occurred with three members of our family. Mom drove around the Lilburn area, she spotted Dr. Williamson's office(who became known to us simply as Jim Bob) and pulled in. Dr. Jim Bob was the first person we met here: not only was he a gifted dentist, he was a loyal friend. We love you Jim Bob,we were so blessed to have you and your family in our lives.

Mrs. Williamson,
I just learned of Dr. Williamson's passing from my daughter. Her father, Bill Guthrie, called to tell her to let me know, when we spoke. Dr. Williamson was my dentist for many years, when I was living in Gwinnett Co., and was one of the most caring people I have ever met. Any time I had major dental work done, he always called to check on me that evening, which I always appreciated. At the time I was his patient, I was Carolyn Guthrie. Sandy was my hygenist. I remember he would always come into the exam room, after my cleanings or before doing dental work, pat me on the shoulder, and wanted to know how I was doing. We shared many a joke together during my visits to have cleanings and dental work done. He knew how to make you feel very relaxed and made sure you were never in any pain. He was by far the best dentist I have ever had. The community and the dental profession will miss him, as will all of his patients and staff. May I offer my deepest sympathy to you and your family. I know you will miss him very much, but I am sure you have many wonderful memories to hold in your heart. May the peace of the Lord be with you all during this sad time in your lives.
