Family-Placed Death Notice
ESTOPINAL, PFC Jason PFC Jason Hill Estopinal, age 21, of Dallas, Georgia, died February 15, 2010 while serving his Country. A public memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at the Chapel of Sosebee Funeral Home in Canton, Georgia with the family receiving friends from 10:00 a.m. until the service. Interment Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia. Jason is the son of Jason Parker Paul Estopinal and Claire Hill Estopinal, and brother of Parker Paul Estopinal. A host of grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives survive. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Jason H. Estopinal Memorial Fund at any Regions Bank. Sosebee Funeral Home, 770-479-2131.

Dear Jason,
I have nothing but good memories of going to school with your Mom when we were kids.
I never met you, but know beyond a shadow of a doubt, having seen your mother´s posts and reading those of other family members and friends, that you continue to live in the hearts and minds of many who knew you.
On this Memorial Day I would just like to thank you for your service to our country, express my sadness that you lost your life here on earth, yet also trust that you know are free and happy in ways those of us still here on earth cannot even imagine.

You continue to be in my prayer's and I think of you often. It was such an amazing service and it was an honor for me as a Marine Mom to be there. My son was is in 2/2 also and was Deployed with Fox Company. Your sons sacrifice will never be forgotten nor will yours. Please know that you will forever be a member of our Warlord Family and loved and thought of by so many of us. My heartfelt condolences to Jason's Family. Jason was my adopted Marine, and I loved filling boxes for him. I never got to meet Jason in person, but I knew he was a Hero the minute I received his name and FOB address. To his Mother, Father, Brother I am so sorry for your loss, you are also real Heroes, and I know your sacrifice as well. I will always cherish having Jason for my Special Adopted Marine. Sadly, America has lost one of its finest heroes, the U.S. has lost a friend and protector, and a family has lost an example of character and courage, which they will love and respect forever. The Final Salute
“Brothers in Arms”, Military men and women down through the centuries, have traditionally exchanged “Hand Salutes” as a sign of recognition and as a way to render courtesy and respect one to another.
This “Hand Salute” is the last that we shall render to PFC. Jason Estopinal our Brother in Arms. To his family it symbolizes the love and respect that we have for Jason. And to Jason it is rendered as a symbol of honor and gratitude to thank him for the ultimate sacrifice he made for his country while opposing enemy forces in Afghanistan. No greater love is shown than a man lay down his life for another. Jason, you are a brave Marine Warrior, a true Patriot and a national Hero. With your passing, our Country has lost a National Treasure. We bid you a sad farewell. You will be dearly missed from among our ranks. Be at ease. Rest in Peace.

We meant Jason briefly at a visit in June 2008 and were impressed by a well mannered, brave, and patriot young man telling us how he had enlisted with the Marines to start boot camp in January. We are so sorry and heartbroken to hear that he was killed in action. Our thoughts have been of you, Paul, and Claire since we heard of your loss.

I have heard so many things about Jason, how he went to basic with his best friend Mitch and how Mitch was his escort home.

My son was KIA on 07/02/2009 in Helmand Province Afghanistan. He was with 2/8 E co. He was LCpl. Seth Sharp from Adairsville, GA. Our hearts are heavy and we are in prayer for your family.
