Family-Placed Death Notice
JEFF DAVIS McGRIFF Jeff Davis McGriff, age 84, of Loganville, formerly of Rex, died Saturday October 8, 2005. He was a veteran of WWII serving at the Battle of the Bulge with the 3rd Army. A retired cabinetmaker, he is survived by his wife, Catherine McGriff, a son, Danny and Jean McGriff, Douglasville; three daughters, Patsy Holman of Lawrenceville, Sandra and Danny Hobbs of Jefferson, Cathy and Tim Satterfield of Dawsonville; one brother, Paul McGriff of Snellville; 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 11, 1PM from Ward's Fairview Chapel. Rev. Billy Godwin officiating. Interment Fairview Memorial Garden. Family will receive friends 3 until 8PM Monday. Arrangements by Horis A. Ward Fairview Chapel, 770-474-1231.

I want to give my condolence to you and your family on your loss. We known each other for the years we worked at Crawford Long Hospital and I remember you talking about J.D. and your family. You are a sweet person and I will keep you and your family in my prayers.

I came across Jeff's obituary by
accident while looking for one on an insured of the company where I
work. I was so sorry to learn of
his passing. Catherine and family,
please accept my deepest sympathy.
Jeff and Catherine were my neighbors in Rex from 1978 to 1993 (my last name then was Smith). We spent many times talking over the fence!
