Family-Placed Death Notice
Marilyn Marie Taylor, 45, of McDonough, GA, daughter of Mrs. Gladys S. Taylor and the late Mr. George F. Taylor passed on April 5, 2007. She is survived by her beautiful daughter, Paizley Taylor-Amador; loving sisters, Georgette Taylor and Holley S. Taylor, step-sister, Janaya A. Davis; grandfather, James N. Tucker; uncle, David C. Smith Jr. of Houston, TX; aunt, Gloria Tucker; niece, Maya Merritt; best friend, Geraldine Dalton; step-father, Norton Henyard and a host of cousins and friends. Memorial services will be held at SouthCare Funeral Home, 595 Franklin Rd., in Marietta on Monday, April 9, 2007 at 6:30PM. Cremation Society of the SOUTH is in charge of the arrangements, 770-420-5557.

Dearest Gladys and family,
I just found out about Marilyn's homegoing. I love each and every one of you and Marilyn has always been near and dear to me. She was the first of you Taylor girls that I met at Macy's Peachtree. I will always cherish my memories of Marilyn and the love she always spoke of each of you, especially Paizley. Marilyn was strong, loving, compassionate, caring, creative, and always had a positive outlook. I know Paizley will carry those attributes with her through the years. I am so sorry that I could not be with you all but I just found out. My love and prayers are with each of you as you face a new day. I pray that God will give you strenth to celebrate Marilyn's life and see her in all the beauty that He gives us. If I can do anything for you, please let me know.

My sincere condolences to the Taylor family on the loss of our dear love one Marilyn.
I knew Marilyn for over 20 years. We met and worked together many years ago at Rich’s Downtown. She was a wonderful individual that will be greatly missed.
My prays will continue to be with you through these trying times.
