Now that your Mom and Daddy are with you along with my dear wife Geneva you should be rejoicing in that no pain or sadness should be there. Your Mom asked me to do her service. I did with her two freinds taking a moment for two to express some good words about her. Mark and Sheree were present along with the Glenn Springs Congregation. We miss you but know you are having a wonderful time.

My Dearest Friend, These seven years have passed by so fast and your heart will never be the same. There is always the ache knowing that a part of you is no longer here. Each year gets easier to handle, however, the pain is always there. You will feel the pain, but you always have the wonderful memories and times of laughter. You had a lot of good times with Mike. You need to cling tightly to these, they will get you through every time. You are like a sister to me and my heart aches for you. You know how well I do understand what you are experiencing. Love you Dearly.

I worked with Mike for many years at Roche Diagnostics and he was a great friend. We were on the cusp of computers becoming a home item and Mike was the original tech guy. He was very intelligent and everyone like him. His laugh was infectious. He loved animals and that always reflected in his personality. Mike will be missed!

Mike and I dated for two years and in that time I believe I could have opened a Hallmark shop with the number of cards he had given me. Even thou Mike and I had gone our separate ways in life; he will always be near and dear to my heart. Mike was a true gentleman; he was kind, thoughtful and so very charming. Barbara when you read this please know that you raised your handsome son right. Barbara you are a friend who has been through so much, I just want you to know how very special you are to me and to God. He never gives us more than we can handle. But I think it's good to have someone to share with and to laugh and cry with. In the mean time when you close your eyes at night, know I'll tuck you in and kiss you good night. God loves you and so do I.

My dear Barbara,
After your note arrived, I did a little digging and I found the news you wanted to share with me. My heart fell reading about Mike. Our time together all those years ago was delightful, fun and playful. Skiing and shared time with Mike, you and Dick are some of my fondest memories of our time in CT. Years have flown by and for me he is forever in his 30's with his very dry wit and welcoming smile. May God comfort you in his hands as you work through the passing of Mike. I know how close the two of you have always been and how your heart must break. with love and prayers, Jackie

Mike was a great and dear friend of mine. He accompanied me to my first Bruce Springsteen concert and we snorkeled with manatees in Crystal River, Florida. I met him when we both worked for Roche and it's hard to imagine a world without Mike Lancaster in it.

I worked with Mike at Trophy Radiology in Marietta from 1996-98. He was a wonderful person. He was always so kind and helpful to me.
One special memory was his joy when I made a carmel cake for him for his birthday at work. (Most employees had some form of chocolate and he didn't like chocolate.) He was delighted. He will be missed.

Caring Canines Therapy Dogs members visited Michael the first and third Thursdays of each month at Morningside at Bellgrade. He would stay with us the entire hour to visit with each and every dog. We are so sorry to hear about his passing. We will miss seeing him each month. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

A Reminiscence
YES, thou art gone! and never more
Thy sunny smile shall gladden me;
But I may pass the old church door,
And pace the floor that covers thee.
May stand upon the cold, damp stone,
And think that, frozen, lies below
The lightest heart that I have known,
The kindest I shall ever know.
Yet, though I cannot see thee more,
'Tis still a comfort to have seen;
And though thy transient life is o'er,
'Tis sweet to think that thou hast been;
To think a soul so near divine,
Within a form so angel fair,
United to a heart like thine,
Has gladdened once our humble sphere.

Mary and I send our condolences to the family. We enjoyed Mike's visit to Pahrump NV and the good dinners we used to have. My best memory of Mike is when Mary was celebrating her 50th birthday and we had to surprise her and keep it a secret. Mike, his Dad,and I did a good job and she was very surprised. It was a good time. God bless him and May his memory be Eternal.
