Family-Placed Death Notice
SMITH, Michael MICHAEL W. SMITH Celebration of life for Mr. Michael W. Smith, of Acworth, age 60, a retired postal worker in the Marietta area for over 36 years, retired in October 2009, will be held Saturday, February 4, 2012 at 6PM from Hanley-Shelton Chapel. He is survived by a loving and caring wife, Mrs. Lena B. Smith; daughter, Chelsea Smith; stepdaughter, Zena Bennett; 2 step-sons, John Evans Jr., and Khalil Wilson; 3 sisters: Mrs. Janice Lipscomb (Wallace), Mrs. Willa Jenna Love (Eddie), Mrs. Donna Williams (Jerry); a caring mother-in-law, Mrs. Beatrice Bennett; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends Friday from 6-7PM at 210 Montgomery St., Marietta. Hanley-Shelton Marietta. (770)428-6333.
