Michael Smoak Obituary
Michael Lee Smoak, age 71, of Kennesaw, passed away Sunday, January 19, 2025. A memorial service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, January 25, 2025, in the chapel of Carmichael Funeral Home in Marietta. The family will greet friends one hour before the service.
Mr. Smoak was born in Atlanta, Georgia and was the Director of Southeast Sales for Beynon Sports. He was preceded in death by his parents. Henry W. Smoak and Shirley Drum Smoak. Mr. Smoak was beloved by his family, who survive him: wife, Beverly McKinley Smoak; daughter, Jaymi Smoak Sorenson (Steven); sons, Eric Smoak and Michael Smoak; sister, Lisa Smoak-Reid; and grandchildren, Harper Sorenson and Solomon Smoak.
Carmichael Funeral Home in Marietta has charge of arrangements.

I met Mike through my brother Guye. Mike was a true treasure and someone you never forget. He was a true southern gentleman with a unique and amazing sense of humor. Prayers to Bev and his family.

I was VERY fortunate to meet Mike through my neighbor and played many rounds of golf with him over the past few years. We became true friends from these rounds of golf which he made very special with his unique and genius sense of humor. He deeply loved his family as he always spoke about them whenever we were together. I will greatly miss Mike and send my deepest condolences to all of his family members and close friends. May he rest in eternal peace.
