Where do I begin? I had the honor of not only working with Pam, but befriending her. Pam and I both started at Hapeville ES around the same time starting in Pre-K. We worked on the same floor for years. She was not only good with the Hapeville students, but very good with my boys as well. To know her was to love her, her soft spoken words and that sincere smile was priceless. When Mrs. Randal mentioned the trip to the Jimmy Carter center, it brought back so many memories. Pam was so excited, she went out of her way to do research for the kids, so much so that we all thought we knew him personally. Bre, I do not know what it's like to loose a mother, but I do know that Earth has no sorrow that heaven can not heal....stay stead fast on his word and he will guide you. I will continue to keep you in my prayers.

I had the joy of working with Mrs. Pamela Pyles-Burton for four years at Hapeville ES. During those years we shared stories, laughs, and everyday struggles. She was a wonderful person, who made a big difference in our students' lives. Some of the words that come to mind when thinking of Pam are fun, real and caring. I will always treasure the time we spent together in this life.

I am so sad at the news of her transition. She loved children, even my own; and I trusted her from the moment we met at Hapeville ES in January 2000. GOD bless & comfort her children, family, friends, colleagues and students during this time and fill the void her absence leaves.

To the family of Pamela Pyle Burton, God doesn't make mistake. I was so sad to hear about Pam's death but new birth. I thank God for letting her be a part of my life. Pam enjoyed working with me at Hapeville Elementary School with student council. We had precious moments running our school store together. Getting in the cast together planning how we were going to make the students happy by Teaching them about President Jimmy Carter. She would be so happy going on that field trip with camera in hand. She was alway's meek and mild. Breanna I ask God to keep you safely in his arms.Love Mrs. Jacksie A. Randall
