Amy, Anne, David - From my first memory of your mom (and dad) - going to their wedding, to visiting them in their apartment in NYC, to visiting all of you in Georgia (many times), I always thought she was one of the coolest people I knew. In the sixties, she bought me my first bell bottom pants and first Simon and Garfunkel LP. In the seventies, she set up your family room for our “Mardi Gras” party to camp en route to New Orleans....... and in the 21st century she moved to the DC area and became my friend. I will surely miss her. With love.

To the Children of Phyllis Schwartz:

With deepest sympathy and condolences to each of you. Her many contributions to those disfranchised will be long remembered. I well remember your mother and father from the early 60's when I worked with both of them while serving with the Dekalb School System. I have a book they (and the Stubbs) gave me when I took a new assignment in the Washington D.C. area. I treasure the book and the memory of your folks.

With warmest regards,

Jeptha V. Greer
