I am so sorry about your lost. I knew Ricky and his whole family since we were 8 years old. We lived across the street from each other. We attended elementary and high school together. Ricky was always a good friend and a very good person. He is someone you could trust. He loved his family and was so proud. He was at one of our High School Reunions at Grant Park and was showing us pictures of all his family, telling us all about UGA and all the achieve his son had made in his life. I don't think there was anyone there as proud of their family as Ricky. I know he will be missed dearly, all of you have many Great Memories to cherish that will help you make it through the tough times.

My deepest Sympathy and Prayers to all of you.

Sandra & Elliott, As you well know, your husband and father was truly a great man. He mentored many of us at Delta & helped us to become better people. Although you've only met a few of us, all of us who knew Rick know a lot about the Rountree's. You were always in his thoughts as he taught us about life & used examples from his family life to help us learn. He will be missed greatly but we know all of his life's contributions live on.

Sandra, Elliott and Shenley, and family,

Along with you, so very many of us had prayed and hoped for Rick's recovery. My heart is quite heavy and sad to hear of his passing.

I had the fortunate experience to know Rick and even be "cubette neighbors" at Delta. We used to exchange our "braggings" on our respective family members - he was so full of love and respect for each of you. He was chosen to be a Delta "poster boy" because of his innate goodness and ability to bring joy just by looking at him.

Rick, your physical presence will be greatly missed, you Bulldog; but your memory will be forever. Thanks for the pleasure.

He was the pricing coordinator's bestest friend. I inherited his office chair when he retired and I hope I do it justice. He will be greatly missed.

His humor and attitude about everything in life and in the work place was always an example to live by. I will miss him. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and close friends. May God Bless.
