Family-Placed Death Notice
Robert (Bob) Casey, USMC retired, 73, of Duluth, GA died May 12, 2006. The memorial service will be held Monday, May 15, 2006 at 3:30 pm at Crowell Brothers Peachtree Chapel. Mr. Casey was a retired Gunnery Sgt. With the United States Marine Corp with 20 years of service, he was also a retired Loan Officer with Suntrust Bank after 18 years of service, and was currently employed with Lou Sobh Auto Sales for the last 8 years. He was a member of the Galilean Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Mary A. Casey of Duluth, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Diana L. and Jim Gibson of Dacula, GA, Linda M. and Don Brown of Buford, GA and Roberta A. and Jeff Ives of Lawrenceville, GA; granddaughters, Jennifer M. Brown and Natalie M. Brown; nephew, Thomas Daniel Cooper and niece, Pam Dunaway both of Memphis, TN. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to Happy Acres, 1709 Old Country Place, Woodstock, GA 30188. (770)442-9254. Crowell Brothers Funeral Home, Norcross (770)448-5757.

Roberta & Diana (and Entire Family),
I just read your Dad's obituary in todays Gwinnett Daily Post. You have our heartfelt sympathy! We know how much you loved your Dad and know how much you miss him. Rejoice in the fact that you were able to have him for such a long time in your lives and relive all the pleasant memories. Haven't seen or talked to you in years, but you're close in thought often. God give you strength, love and courage to face each day.

I NEVER GOT A CHANCE TO SAY GOOD-BYE BEFORE YOU LEFT, THAT IS MY ONLY REGRET. WE DIDN'T GET A CHANCE TO SPEAK EVERY DAY, BUT YOU ALWAYS TOOK A MOMMENT TO GIVE ME A REASON TO SMILE WHEN OUR PATHS DID CROSS. I'M SO GLAD YOUR BEAUTIFUL WIFE AND FAMILY WERE ABLE TO HOLD YOU TIGHT AND SAY GOODBYE. I'LL MISS YOU. KEEP THEM IN-LINE UP THERE. SEMPER FI.

so sorry about bob, i met him at the lawrenceville tag office. we had one thing in common the georgia bulldogs.just saw him last wednesday , and was shocked about the news. i will always have those fond memories of such a nice man whom never met a stranger and loved to chit-chat. may the lord lighten your hearts during this time of needed comfort. i will miss my bulldog partner.
