Dear Aunt Helen, Danny, Mark, Lea, and families,
We were so sorry to learn of Uncle Bobby's death. He was such a fine Christian man, a wonderful example to all who knew him, and so much fun! I can just see Uncle Bobby and my Daddy playing guitar and singing together in Heaven right now; the image makes me cry but it also gives me hope. Our hearts and prayers are with you at this time of sorrow.

From over 1,100 fellow alums (classes of 1934 to present) of the Tennessee Nu Chapter of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity at Vanderbilt University,

Our deepest sympathies go to Mrs. Landers, her children and grandchildren, and other family members and friends. Brother ROBERT DANIELL "BOBBY" LANDERS, TN NU Class of 1956, was a true gentleman of the highest order. May he rest in peace.

Pledge we now the Mystic token,
That our bond remains unbroken,
Firm and lasting as before.

Death may veil, but cannot sever,
Love still lives, and lives forever
Strong and constant as of yore.

Yonder in Phi Alpha’s dawning,
Highest hopes, and holiest longing,
Shall their full fruition find.

There, in perfect bonds fraternal,
‘Neath the All-Seeing Eye Eternal,
Love our hearts shall closer bind.

From his Brothers in the Bonds
